On commute to Kent this morning I treated myself to a mobile phone call to Sydney and spoke to the ever amazing and lovely friend Jen. She had good news about her life, it gave me the biggest smile. I shared with her that I had created a drawing of her on the weekend, she asked to see it I emailed it to her and this has now given me the courage to also share it on my blog.
So here it is.... second attempt to draw face from photo.
Tonight I went to a lecture at the National Gallery and was naughty and treated myself to an art book on the way out. Gallery shops are so dangerous to me. I am sure this book will make me a better person,or if not I will enjoy reading and perusing the images anyway.
